They night vision can definitely come in handy, but you could also just learn the spell for light early in game. With the removal of agility and jumping stats, I just don't really see what the Khajiit offer except for a cool look and funny memes. I don't say that to hate on them because I believe they were the best race in Oblivion. There is really no wrong answer here, except for Khajiit.
